You don’t play computer games? You don’t run any design software? You don’t use any specialized commercial software?

If that’s really the case, then any operating system will do, really. You could use Windows XP, Windows Vista, any of the major Linux distros (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, Fedora), or Mac OS X.

In terms of safety, no operating system is invincible, but you’re less likely to have your computer compromised on Linux or Mac OS X.

In terms of speed, they’re all about the same, though Linux can be tweaked to be super-fast if you don’t mind a minimalist environment.

“Better” is just a matter of opinion. Try them all and see what you like best.

When I stand up, everything turn black then back to normal. Is something wrong with me?

Most of the time when I try to stand up from my siting position. Everything turn black and giddy, it take about a minute or so then my vision is back to normal. Is this normal or is there something wrong with me?

If this happens to you almost every time you get up, than you may have a problem. Usually if you get up and stretch at the same time you will get that feeling as if your going to black out, sometimes if you get up from a relaxed position to quickly you might experience the same thing.
It has nothing to do with your eyes, it’s something your brain does when your action isn’t submitted to your brain as fast as it usually does.

what are these tiny white outdoor insects?

i’m in west texas, and over the past 2 or 3 weeks we have had zillions of these VERY small white bugs outside. they look like tiny snowflakes. or almost like ashes. they are really ticking me off. you don’t want to take a breath outside, cos you might inhale them!!!

May be white flys.
