What is the RMS power output of a Samsung HT-X40 Home Theater System?

I’ve been searching online for the RMS power output of the Samsung HT-X40 Home Theater System. All I can find is the bull***t on the packaging (800W Total Power Output.)

If you can find the ‘real’ power output for me, I’ll be sure to give you best answer. If you can actually take a measurement of the output (using measurement equipment) I’ll pick your’s over the others. Thanks in advance!

You won’t find the data published by the manufacture in this case.

Since this model uses the same amplifier section as before you should expect the same as the few previous models. At the industry standard of 20Hz to 20kHz .001% THD, all channels driven, about 25W per channel, the acurate number you are looking for is not measured but is calculated and measured, Samsung will not release the data necisary to make the calculations so you will have to settle for as close as this, but I would not buy it on the premise that they use the BS numbers, fight back

NFL Twindex: Relative unknown new No. 1
My eyes glazed over as would-be analysts offered little worthy of attention on Twitter regarding the NBA Finals, starting with too many of these: “Who ya got tonight, Mavs or Heat?” Yawn-inducing, akin to, “What up [insert city here]?” Over the last two weeks, we heard who came close to missing a flight and who was delayed and what they thought of the airports they were delayed in. But even in …

Passive subwoofer installation?

I am putting together a custom home theater system in my home. I am looking at putting in two 8″ 150 watt passive In-wall Subwoofers to go along with my 7-channel surround system. I need to purchase a separate amplifier to run the two subs. I have been looking at the Pyle PTA1000 1000w 2-channel amplifier, but I’m not familiar enough with amplifiers to know if this will work. If anyone can help me out and give some suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I’d strongly advise against using in-wall sub-woofers.

The average wall only has 4 or so inches of depth and that doesn’t leave enough room for a good sub-woofer enclosure to be stuffed in it. Heck, unless you make some design concessions and sacrifice sound quality you can’t make a decent Bass driver fit in that space.

I’m afraid if you go this route you’ll end up with a rattling wall that is going to sound just awful.
