Looking for a way to make standard home stereo speakers wireless?
Is there a device that will convert my existing home stereo speakers into wireless? I have a pretty good quality surround sound system, but I am tired of the speaker wires . I need to go wireless, but I want to use my existing speakers. Anyone have any ideas????
The previous responder obviously missed the January 2008 issue of “Home Theater” magazine, which discusses exactly the kind of gear you’re looking for.
The magazine reviewed and gave excellent marks to the KEF Universal Wireless Speaker Kit ($600). Similar (but unreviewed) products include the Rocketfish RF-WHTIB Wireless Rear Speaker Kit ($100), the Kenwood RFU-6100 Wireless Amplifier ($300), and the Amphony Model 1550 Digital Wireless Audio Transmitter/Amplifier ($200).

Is there an audio splitter for a home/bookshelf stereo system?
I’ve got a bookshelf stero system with only 1 audio input for the red & white connectors, one for my computer and I’d like to hook up my DVD’s audio into it too. Are there any splitters available for allowing this?
Get something like this it will work just fine just don’t have the dvd player and the computer playing an audio source at the sam time it will sound terrible because they will be mixed together.
right now I use it in a bookshelf stereo, but the stereo itself is bulky. I want something more portable but with still great sound. Thanks!
I have a docking station with great speakers and an alarm clock, and also have a couple of sets of portable speakers-I love them all. Its a great way to carry your tunes with you and listen to them without headphones. You can find them at Walmart, Biglots, Kmart, etc. or online. I also have a Griffin “Road Trip”, which allows me to listen to the itouch through my car stereo-it just plugs in to the cigarette lighter and finds an available signal-works a charm!
