Are weed and grass killer products, such as RoundUp, safe to spray around the base of bushes or “red tips”?
We have some bushes that we planted, but there is grass around the base of them that we don’t want there. Are weed and grass killer products, such as RoundUp, safe to spray around the base of bushes or “red tips”?
I meant… is it safe for the bushes? I want to get rid og the grass and weeds around the bushes… but don’t want to harm or ruin the red tips.
Well, I would say it is safe. Dont overspray though, and try not to get too much in the earth around the bush. The spray enters the leaves and chokes them out. Maybe try in one area first and see if anything bad happens. I have done it before without killing the “good” plant.

I have a pair of “Real D 3D” glasses and I was wondering I could use them at home? On a normal computer screen or a HDTV and if not do you know if you could use the Red & Blue 3D type of glasses instead?

You need a 3D film to look at. Otherwise, they have no more effect than sunglasses.
Even with the Red and Green glasses you need a SPECIAL MOVIE to look at. The Red and Green glasses DO have some interesting effects on things like fireworks, but they are NOT 3D.
Next trime you are in a 3D movie, TAKE OFF THE GLASSES. you will see how “weird” the screen looks without them.
What is happeneing is that the movie projector is actually sending TWO PICTURES AT ONCE — One for your left eye and one for your right eye. Each picture is POLARIZED in a special way — left or right. The Real 3D glasses are ALSO polarized, left and right. You left eye cannot see the right picture, and your right eye cannot see the left picture. When you brain see BOTH pictures are once, it combins them into 3D.
By the way, Real 3D is CIRCULAR POLARIZED. This gives you less eye strain than the old vertical/horizontal polarization that was popular a few years ago.
Red and Blue glasses do the same thing, except the film isn’t polarized — it is “color shifted”. Same thing — one eye can’t see a blue picture, one eye can;t see a red picture.
The nice thingk about Red and Blue is that it DOES work on TV! IF the TV company is sending a red/blue 3D movei, and you have the glasses, you WILL see the movie in 3D! [this doesn't work with Real 3D, because a television screen canNOT be polarized.]
I think that Comcast Cable is transmitting Friday the 13th in 3D this month.

get a cd changer with a fm modulator because it will be cheaper in the long run. If i remember the car correctly it will be expensive, the all of your wires will have to be run to the trunk for and in dash cd player take it to your local installers shop, they should be able to give you and estimate
