How can i use my DS as a wireless PC speaker?

Hi, I would like to use my Nintendo DS as a wireless speaker over WiFi. Is there some kind of home brew application for this. Also i have tried the way through winamp but it only plays pre-recorded stuff. I have a R4DS Flash cart to run an NDS file if anyone can help me.

There is such a program for this to be allowed. Check www.qj.com go to there downloads section.

Where can I get a speaker for my Ipod Video 30 Gb for under $100?

I need a speaker that’s not so big, charges my ipod, and has VERY good sound. It also must be able to play well on high volume. I would like to pay around $100 with a little leeway. Please give me the name and websites of actual models as i already know which stores carry ipod speakers. I just don’t know if they are any good.

The iHome will charge but it is over $100. But for like $20 you can buy iSound speakers and you can also buy a portable USB port for like $15.

wireless speakers?

I am looking to purchase a set of wireless speakers. They will be goin in a new steakhouse that my family is opening, and i am wondering what brands are trustworthy. These speakers need to be able to go about 50 ft if not more.

thx for the help….

See the link for a listing of wireless surround speaker models. I suggest you look through the list for three things … ones from brand name firms (JBL, Klipsch, Acoustic Research, Sony, etc), from that sub-list consider shape/size and price. Finally, look at specs for the speakers on the short list and make sure the ones you are interested in can satisfy your range requirements (and remember you must be able to place the receiver in line-of-sight from the transmitter to obtain this range). As an example, the second link is to the details page on the “JBL on air control 2.4Ghz” … and specifies up to 70′ range.

Several considerations:
- Wireless speakers may degrade sound slightly vs similar wired models … but this is not going to be an issue in a restaurant setting.
- Power (and therefore loudness) may be a bit low by home standards, although again unless you plan to really blast out music this should not be an issue.
- You will need a power outlet near the speakers since they will have to be plugged in.

Finally, there are outdoor wireless speakers available should this be a requirement (e.g. for a patio. Do another search on the linked site).
