I made halloween costumes and used duct tape to create designs on the clothing. Now I want to wash the costumes so that I can put them away for next time. Will the duct tape come off? Is there anyway to make it so that the duct tape stays on?
Duct tape is made for heating ducts primarily. The concept of the adhesive is that the heat in the duct sets the adhesive and makes it stay stuck.
If you want the duct tape to stay through the laundry use heat on the tape before washing. If you have an old steam iron just steam iron the taped areas. If you don’t want to chance getting the tape adhesive on your iron, place an old towel over the area you are going to iron and then iron the tape down.
If you want to use duct tape on the upholstery say in an old car or chair and don’t iron it down then it will start to roll up as people sit on the tape. Then every time they move or get up they are stuck to the chair and can even get some of the adhesive on their clothes.

i tried to install a car stereo myself and now my back lights and my dashboard lights arent working?
I tried to install my own car stereo, bad mistake
Now my backlights dont work, the brake lights does and my main front light works, but my dashboards lights dont. Im not sure if I unlugged something or what. Any advice?
you blew a fuse look in the fuse box and change the bad one it should be labeled as well
Why doesn’t my wireless internet adapter work on my laptop when it’s plugged into a port hub?
My laptop (Latitude CPX-J) only has one usb port. In order for me to access the internet from it, I must use a usb adapter, and it always works fine.
BUT
It doesn’t work, or even detect it when it’s plugged into any of the ports on my 4-port usb hub.
Your USB wireless internet adapter needs power, which it gets from the USB port. But when you plug in the port splitter it too needs power, so it dose not pass the power through to the internet adapter. You will need to get a Powered USB hub to do what you want.

tough one here. I lost my remote to my Karaoke dvd player and am trying to get an?
RCA universal remote to program to it. the rca unit says it will work on any remote device! perhaps if some one knows who Vocopro is produced by or the 4 digit code for it that would be great.
Try calling the company that makes the karaoke unit. If it is Voco Pro they can probably sell you another remote for your unit. Just tell them the model number.
