Pocket FM radio with 2 AA batteries?

Will a portable FM radio with 2 AA batteries tend to receive a fringe station better than a radio with one battery.

I think so. Fringe stations are father away from your portable radio receiver. And a radio that uses more battery power will pick up stations better.

Lot Alternative
im on nexium 40mg & ive gained a lot of weight, is there an alternative that wont gain weight?

ok i have been on nexium for like 7 years & they work great for the acid reflux but since ive been on them ive gone from 50kgs to 77kgs, what can i use instead?

I’m really sure that the nexium would cause weight gain… I’ve taken it for about 15yrs, and have always been slim; until now – but that is due to taking anti-psychotics, and I’m now losing again.

There are alternatives… but they will still be proton pump inhibitors, so will work in the same way… You could try Lansaprozole which is quite good, or omeprazole (yours is esomeprazole: a little different).

The other thing you could try is Zantac; that will help to cut acid production, but is nowhere near as strong.

Please be aware that longterm acid reflux can leave you with a much higher risk of oesphagal cancer… which is not worth the risk!!

Ask your doctor about changing the med, or maybe lower the dose and supplement with Gaviscon, before bed and after meals.

Good luck
