Can i use the DvD/Cd drive from my laptop to run something to my netbook via double ended usb cord?

My netbook OS is busted…
the company that made it sent me recovery disks and I dont really want to to spend 50 dollars on an external USB DVD/CD drive…
can i possibly use the DVD/CD drive from my gateway laptop to burn the disks to the netbook?
I have one of those Dual Ended USB cords…

That will not work, The only thing that you can do is use a 4 Gig pen drive.
you need to download this drivers first.

Then install the disc on the pen drive.

Wal-mart carries them for $49.00 that is the cheapest I have found them, and if you have the cards you can get by mail you’ll only pay about $10

How do i reprogram my remote control on my toyota vios (i think cobra remote control brand)?
I would realy appreciate if someone can tell me how to reprogram the remote control for my 2005 toyota vios. i have just bought the car and the remote had a flat battery and i had to change it. Now the remote does not work and needs to be reprogrammed and it is not in my little book. Any advice greatly recieved. Thank you.

i always knew toyotas were just toys. how much did you pay for your remote control car? uhmmm but i am guessing that you are talking about the remote on yoru keychain? if so go to an alarm system shop, they usually are with audio shops.
