Tubes Quad

Best way to add bass to 2007 dakota quad cab?
I just bought a 2007 dakota quad cab and wanted to add a bit more bass. It is bone stock now, i am looking at getting a $150 HU (alpine or clarion) and maybe a $200-$300 on a bass tube. Now i am wondering if thats the best way….i dont think i have enough money to get an enclousure (stealthbox or thunderfoam) and put in a decent woofer/amp
also any recommendations for good bass tubes? ive read that audiobahn and bazooka make tubes with built in amps, are those are good ?
If you have 8-10 inches behind your rear seats or under your rear seat you can definitely fit a flat box sub in there. You can go with a kicker CVT or equivalent which will give good bass but nothing spectacular by any means. They even make a 10″ L5 that is in a flat box that could possibly fit and with a nice amp that would hit hard. Your other option is to just put a big ass ported 12 on your rear seat (what I did with my tundra access cab) and that will make your car shake with a good amp.
And as for bazooka and audiobahn, they are both crap, esp bazooka. My advice if going with a bass tube: get a ported style bass tube and put in a nice 10 like a type r or kicker cvx. Add a good amp and this also will hit pretty decent.
